BFL: Kilmainham impress against Clonard

Kilmainham 1-13
Clonard 0-10

The combination of Smith and Butler at mid field along with a staunch half and full backline of Kilmainham meant that Clonard found it hard to grab scores.

Clonard relied on the excellent free taker Simon McNevin who scored six of their ten points.

Kilmainham's forwards of Seanie Mahon (4), Shane Morgan (5) and Bobby O'Rourke worked at lightening speed.

Those who played good for Kilmainham were Peter Smith, Denis and Harry Newman, Gerard Darren and Shane Morgan, Fergal Black, Shane Butler, Bobby O'Rourke and Tom Monaghan.

Kilmainham - Paddy Hennigan, Aodain Healy, Harry Newman, Darren Morgan, Denis Newman 0-2, Gerard Morgan, Fergal Black, Shane Butler 0-1, Peter Smith 0-1, Sean Mahon 0-4, Shane Morgan 0-5, Stephen Woods, Bobby O'Rourke, Darren King, Philip Mooney. Subs - Tom Monaghan for S Woods, Ian Walsh for F Black, Mark Newman 1-0 for Darren King, Brian Black for A Healy, Micheal Mahon for P Mooney.
