NFL 4: Exiles get first win
London secured their first win in Division 4 of the NFL when they ran out emphatic winners over fellow strugglers Kilkenny in Nowlan Park.

The home side actually opened the scoring through Paddy Raftice, but it proved to be a false dawn as London dominated thereafter. Points from Darren Horan and Aidan Fitzgerald put them ahead and with Galway native Paul Geraghty impressing at midfield, they went on to lead by 0-8 to 0-1 at half-time.
However, the day ended on a sour note for Geraghty who was taken to hospital after sustaining a serious injury early in the second half.
London full forward Aidan Fitzgerald put the game beyond doubt when his goal made it 1-10 to 0-1. Kilkenny were awarded a penalty minutes later, but Graham Lalor's shot was saved. The Cats' only point of the second half was scored by Paul Donnelly.
