40% discount offer on club final tickets

The GAA has announced that the special ticket price offer for the AIB GAA Club Championship finals has been extended until midnight on March 16. Tickets for children cost €5, while adult tickets are priced at €15.

GAA President Christy Cooney said the reduced ticket price offers supporters real value for money.

He said: "The AIB GAA Club Championship St Patrick's Day final double header line up showcases everything that is good about our club games and there are two mouth-watering encounters in prospect.

"The meeting of the Clare and Antrim football champions has a real novel feel to it and hurling followers would be hard pushed to pick a more attractive final at either Club or County level than the meeting of the two kingpins of the Club scene that are Portumna and Ballyhale Shamrocks.

"The growth of the popularity of these finals shows that they have become an integral part of St Patrick's Day for so many people.

"I would encourage all of those who plan to attend this year's game to get their tickets before match day and avail of the fantastic 40% discounts on tickets purchased before St Patrick's Day."

Galway's Portumna take on Ballyhale of Kilkenny in what will be an intriguing Hurling final. Clare's Kilmurry-Ibrickane make their debut in Croke Park as they take on St Galls of Antrim.

Throw in for the hurling final is at 2pm and this is followed by the football final.

Tickets are available from www.gaa.ie, ticketmaster outlets nationwide, Dublin Tourism Suffolk street, Elverys Store O'Connell Street, Centra Dame Street.
