McConville takes Kilmurry Croker session
Former Armagh ace Oisin McConville has helped out with Kilmurry-Ibrickane's preparations for next Wednesday week's All-Ireland club SFC final by taking the team's training session at Croke Park last weekend.
The Clare and Munster champions were in Dublin last weekend to discover their opponents for the Croke Park decider on St Patrick's Day and McConville, who is a winner of four All-Ireland club medals with Crossmaglen Rangers, is understood to have given the players a few pointers ahead of their clash with St Gall's, according to this week's Clare Champion newspaper.
McConville is still the leading top-scorer in Ulster championship football and Kilmurry boss Michael McDermott will have seen some of his shared experience as vital to the players before they take on the northern province's current champions.
Kilmurry are set to travel to Dublin a day prior the final and will be boosted by the return of Declan Callinan, who is back from suspension.
