Spring is in the air, daffodils pushing their way up, the national leagues building up momentum, it can only mean one thing. Yeah, you've guessed it - the Cavan GAA Yearbook is back.
This year's compendium of all things GAA differs little from previous tomes, i.e. it is quality and no true Cavan Gael can do without a copy. Articles on all the county sides plus special features on the legendary Owen Roe McGovern, Johnny Cusack, Padraic O'Reilly, Mark McEntee, Phil Smith and Peter Pritchard are included in the county section. Each club also has an article dedicated to its efforts.
It is as good a read as you will get this spring, so go ahead, make our day and get an issue. Oh, and unless you have sticky fingers, you had better bring €8.95 with you when you set out for your local shop.
